Plantera 2 platinum โ a few hours plus an overnight, PS5
Notes on getting the Plantera 2 platinum on PS5. Idle game, fast platinum, mostly hands-off once you have the setup running.
Got the Plantera 2 platinum on PS5 recently. A few hours of active play, one overnight idle session, done.
Coming in from Plantera 1
I'd played the first Plantera on PlayStation so I knew the general shape of it. Same cozy idle formula, just more of everything. No real learning curve on the concept โ you're building out a garden, attracting animals, watching the money flow.
What actually helped
Get golden acorn production running before you leave it overnight. That's the whole strategy. Spend a few hours setting up your garden, unlock the golden acorn trees, make sure the income loop is humming, then let it sit. Come back in the morning with enough to buy everything remaining.
There's nothing clever about it, but if you don't get the production sorted first, you'll wake up to not quite enough and have to babysit it longer.
The grind
Barely a grind. The platinum is basically "see the whole game" and the idle mechanics do most of the work. It felt more like a casual evening and a full night's sleep than a farming session. Hard to complain about that.
Worth it?
The game: yes. It's $5, it's chill, and it doesn't ask much of you.
The platinum: yes, easy call. A few hours of setup and an overnight idle session. Low effort, satisfying ding at the end.
